Events
Vale of Aylesbury visit and a test run
The picture on the left shows a VAMES visitor and the picture on the right shows Tim on a test run with his Beyer Garrett loco.
Freight Day and a Ballantine-Dykes visit
On the left is a busy Spinney station on "Freight Day"; lots of scale wagons on view. We discovered that if scale wagons were too light they could derail at a trailing spring point. Family Day saw a visit by many of the Ballantine Dykes family, The picture shows Hugh's family on a long train heading up the branch hauled by the Scot. Did it make it ???
Visit to the Pinewood Railway
In November we were invited to the Pinewood Railway, the pictures above show us there.

Signalling and Structures
The top left picture shows one of two temporary point switches that Robin added this summer. (One at Dingly and one at Bay Tree.)
The top right picture shows the team installing the authentic look box round the water butt at Dingly.
On the right is a picture of Patricia, a new regular signaller, on this occasion driving the Scot. Patricia was a professional signaller on the "real" railway.
Finally : A clock at Old Oak
Peter has adopted Old Oak and is now the default signaller there. To enhance his domain he added a clock just as the season finished.
